Our Pharmacists
The pharmacists at P.H. Medical Pharmacy have a combined total of 55 years of experience in the practice of compounding and dispensing prescriptions. Their specialized knowledge, excellent counseling skills and dedication to the needs of their patients is the reason P.H. Medical Pharmacy has been operating in San Francisco for over 35 years. Working closely with physicians, our staff enjoys the ability to provide solutions for patients, whether by compounding a medication that is otherwise unavailable, or by finding a different dosage form to ensure that a patient can easily take and benefit from their medicine. P.H. Medical Pharmacy and its customers are fortunate to have the skills and expertise of these consummate professionals.
Elliott Warshauer
Elliott has owned P.H. Medical Pharmacy since 1968. His father, Murray Warshauer, owned Seacliff Pharmacy in San Francisco, where Elliott received his first exposure to his future profession. He attended Stanford University and graduated from UCSF School of Pharmacy in 1963. When his daughter Deborah graduated as a pharmacist in 1998, the Warshauer family had its third generation of pharmacists. What Elliott enjoys most about being a pharmacist is the opportunity to provide personalized compounded medications to individual patients.
Katina Cosenza
Katina grew up in West Virginia and is herself a second generation pharmacist. She loved working at her father's pharmacy when she was growing up, and she admired the profession because of him. She attended West Virginia University, graduated from pharmacy school in 1986, and she has been at P.H. Medical Pharmacy since 1990. Katina enjoys compounding, especially the ability to help patients who feel they have no other options. Her priority is to provide personalized care and attention and to help patients be as healthy as possible.
